Time-resolved immunofluorescence chromatography technology
The third generation time-resolved immunofluorescence chromatography technology developed by VETIVD™ is a new non-radioactive rapid immunoassay technology based on traditional fluorescence analysis. Time-resolved immunofluorescence assay (TRIFA) utilizes fluorescence microspheres labeled with europium ( Eu), a lanthanide element, as the marker. Eu possesses two unique fluorescence properties - time-resolved and wavelength-resolved - that minimize background interference, enhance fluorescence intensity by nearly ten thousand times compared to conventional fluorophores, and significantly improve the sensitivity and specificity of detection.
Time-resolved immunofluorescence chromatography technology
This product adopts a double-antibody sandwich method and utilizes the technical principle of immunofluorescence chromatography. During the test, the sample is dropped into the sampling hole of the detection card, and chromatography is performed under the capillary effect.
For example: cTSH in the sample combines with the fluorescently labeled cTSH antibody, diffuses to the test area, is captured by another coated cTSH antibody, and forms a complex that aggregates in the test area; the fluorescence intensity of the test area is proportional to the cTSH concentration in the sample , the immunochromatographic quantitative analyzer converts the fluorescence signal value into the concentration of cTSH in the sample according to the calibration curve; line C is the quality control line, and the reagent is proven to be effective after the fluorescence intensity reaches the effective value.

Time resolution performance
The fluorescence decay time of europium (Eu3+) is as long as 714ms, and ordinary fluorescence is <100ms. Through specific settings of the instrument, Eu3+-specific fluorescence signals can be obtained.
