The fSAA test is a fluorescence immunoassay used along with Immunofluorescence Analyzer for quantitative determination of feline serum amyloid A concentration in feline whole blood, serum or plasma specimen. The test is used as an aid to confirm the presence of underlying inflammation, monitor response to therapy and post-operative effects and recovery.

fSAA Reference range:

Result(Tu/ml)                       Suggestion

        ≤10                                    Normal (-)

     10 ~ 50                               Mild inflammation (+)

     50 ~ 150                             Moderate  inflammation (++)

       >150                                Serious  inflammation (+++)

Each laboratory should establish a reference range that is representative of the population to be evaluated.

PRODUT DETAILS
Advanced Detection Technology
VETIVD™ fSAA Rapid Quantitative Test adopts the third generation time-resolved
immunofluorescence
chromatography technology, using the rare earth element
europium (Eu3+) coated nano-fluorescent
microspheres as a marker, and determines the
results by analyzing the fluorescence intensity of the detection
zone and the quality control
zone to achieve rapid quantitative analysis.
